Game SummaryManhattan Grill and Gold FC finished regulation with no score. In the shootout, Manhattan came away victorious as they outlasted Gold, 4-3 in kicks from the mark. Congratulations to John Salbeck and his team for getting to the Final after coming close in previous years.
Game SummaryShakedowns defeated the Colts 1-0 with a goal that found side netting with approx 20 minutes left in the match. The Shakedowns keeper came up big to deny Colt forward Sebastian Haensel from getting the equalizer at the 70 minute mark. Haensel's chip shot appeared that it was going find the back of the net, but the Shakedowns keeper's outstretched hand tipped the ball over the bar to keep the Colts off the board. Congratulations to Billy Layton and his side for a job well done.

Game SummaryCongratulations to Shakedowns and Manhattan Grill for a hard fought CSL Final that was deadlocked 1-1 at the end of regulation. Shakedowns got on the board first when a shot redirected off the post to a wide open Ben Pardew who tapped it in for the 1-0 lead. In the final 10 minutes, Manhattan Grill threw caution to the wind and continued to attack with #s. The Shakedowns defense, anchored by game MVP Nino Mangione, weathered the storm and continued to deny Manhattan Grill. The persistence and grit, however, of the Manhattan Grill side finally paid off with seconds remaining in the match. A shot was fired from 20 yards out and was partially blocked by a Shakedows player. There was nothing the keeper could do but watch the ball go into the back of the net for the tie. PKs followed with Shakedowns coming away victorious, 4-3 and capturing the F Patrick Healey Cup and the League Championship. Kevin Healey and Baltimore soccer legend, Bernie Reif were on hand, along with League Coordinator, Frank Assaro to present the F Patrick Healey Cup to coach Billy Layton and the Shakedowns side. John Salbeck, player/coach, for the Manhattan Grill acccepted the Finalist Trophy for 2nd place.
